In 2010, the Salzburg Festival celebrates its 90th anniversary. It is due to this occasion that we have chosen the premises of the Salzburg Festival as the conference venue for the 9th international Voice Symposium Salzburg. In order to honour this great location with its many unforgotten and outstanding performances, this year's conference bears the title "Künstlermedizin - Comprehensive approach in Voice Care and Musicians Medicine"

To maintain the tradition of the Voice Symposium Salzburg, the conference's main focus will be the singing voice. In accordance with this year's motto, however, the Voice Symposium Salzburg will also be dedicated to the physiologic and medical questions concerning musical instruments and both amateur and professional instrumentalists. As usual, we have also in 2010 invited a distinguished international faculty, coming from various scientific and pedagogic backgrounds.
